Lough
Key Forest Park
Lough
Key is one of the most beautiful lakes in Ireland. Situated about 2 miles east
of Boyle, it was once part of the Rockingham Estate, granted to Sir John King at
the beginning of the 17th century. The forest park, comprising about
350 hectares of woodland, the lake, beautiful walks and many points of
architectural and archaeological interest, is one of the most extensive in
Ireland.
